Well there she is on our satellite radar video images on our televisions and Internet. Tropical Depression Joyce is now officially Tropical Storm Joyce. Although this too may be merely a temporary title on her way to being crowned as a Category I Hurricane or potentially even larger? Considering we are getting to almost half way thru Hurricane Season almost and we are on the ?Js? apparently the meteorologists, weather researchers and climate scientists were right about this being a rather strong 2006 Atlantic Tropical Hurricane Season. We have sure had some bad ones already this year and unfortunately we still have quite a bit of time still to go on the Hurricane Season this year don?t we?

Well it could be worse some have reminded us, as we reflect on the record breaking 2005 Hurricane Season which indeed seemed to break nearly every possible record known to man. The National Hurricane Center in Miami and the NOAA are watching Joyce to see just how big she will grow and exactly where she might be headed and they seem to have a pretty good idea. Later we should expect some more data as Hurricane Hunters fly over and thru her to see what kind of power Joyce has. If you are in the projected path of Joyce it might be wise to prepare your home and your family and start making plans to protect yourselves. Consider all this in 2006.
